Participants: 4 Explorers plus 1 for substitution
Equipment Needed: Full Turnouts- Helmet, Turnout Jacket, Turnout Pants, Turnout Boots, Hood, Gloves.    
Equipment Supplied: 100' of 2 ½"" Hose                        
                                    
Rules:                                     

• 2 Explorers will begin at both ends of 100'                    
• Explorer 1 pulls 100' of 2 ½" hose 100' and brings in the hose "hand over hand" until the last coupling passes the marked line.                    
• Explorer 2 adjusts the hose behind explorer 1 flaking hose in a zig zag formation, in preparation for exp 2 pull.                            
• Explorer 2 pulls 100' of 2 ½" hose 100' and brings in the hose "hand over hand" until the last coupling passes the marked line.                    
• Explorer 3 adjusts the hose behind explorer 1 flaking hose in a zig zag formation, pattern is followed with exp 4 with explorer 1 flaking the hose on last run                    

***Hose must be pulled "hand over hand" all the way through until the last coupling passes the line.                                
*****No last yank, or hard pull will be allowed, hand over hand the entire way*****
***The explorer cannot pull the hose in a ""bundled"" fashion. It is recommended that the explorer partner on each side should flake out the hose for his or her partner to prevent this from happening. If the hose is pulled in a "bundled" fashion the referee will give a timed penalty.        
Explorer 2, 3, & 4 repeat the last step until all 4 explorers have finished their evolution.
